Meet Dr. Ryan Price of Muscle Sports Chiropractic in Park Cities

Today we’d like to introduce you to Dr. Ryan Price.

Dr. Price, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I was heavily involved in sports growing up, from youth leagues all the way to playing football in college at Sam Houston State University. Our team chiropractor helped me greatly during my time there and led me to explore the health and wellness industry. I experienced firsthand the benefits of treatment while training and competing, and I knew that I wanted to help athletes in some capacity. After an extremely beneficial internship at the Cooper Institute, I decided to pursue my Doctorate of Chiropractic at Parker University in Dallas.

I opened my first clinic, Premier Chiropractic of Southlake, in 2006. Over the years, we have seen more and more of a need for treatment and therapy related to athletes of all skill levels. Our clinic and my associates hold certifications that are necessary and beneficial to working with athletes and treating sports injuries. We have also seen that more people are being proactive about their treatment. We offer several types of treatments, such as Active Release Techniques, Functional Movement Assessments, Massage Therapy, and Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization.

I have always wanted to expand and Dallas was a great option for us. We opened Muscle Sports Chiropractic in February of this year.

Has it been a smooth road?
We are beyond excited to be in Dallas, and we look forward to being involved with our patients and the community like we are in Southlake. Of course, there are challenges when starting a business. The most important thing is to let people know that we are here any time they have an injury or just simply need to come in for ART before a race.

Many people ask if we only see athletes. The answer is no, you do not need to be an athlete to come in for treatment. Our providers use all of the different techniques and therapies on every patient that comes in, not just athletes.

We’d love to hear more about your business.
We believe that every patient should have their own unique experience. Everyone has a different reason for coming in to our office. Some people are training for a specific event, like a triathlon, while some are preparing for their sport’s season and want to stay flexible to reduce the chance of injury. Others are experiencing pain and are needing relief and guidance on how to prevent it from happening again.
