Today we’d like to introduce you to Kiddell.
So, before we jump into specific questions about your work, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
Growing up I was always more in the background and I enjoyed being kept to myself. Over time I started to really get into music and started writing as a stress relief and immediately fell in love with music from that point on. I met a lot of different creatives and started a group called “Odd Society” in 2016. Odd Society puts on creative meetups in Dallas where we meet so many creatives in the area who have the same drive and vision as ourselves.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has not been a smooth road at all lol since I’ve been in the creative arena I’ve learned a lot through the good and bad. I’ve learned that not everyone is going to agree with who you are and what you decide to do but you have to continue to stay true to who you are as an artist and continue to find who you are in the process…
Can you give our readers some background on your music?
I’m heavily involved in Odd Society where we love bringing creatives together to network and grow but I also balance out my music career in the process. I love doing music because I feel so free in doing so and everything that I may not be able to say directly I’m able to put in a song and communicate how I feel.
Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
My favorite memory is definitely when my neighborhood at the time in Florida all came together in this huge airsoft and paintball war, it was about sixty of us kids it was wild.
