Today we’d like to introduce you to Kimberley Casida Milligan.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I started my career in 2003 when I was offered a job with a friend and neighbor who was with a nationally known company in the insurance industry. I spent five years with him learning the business, before going to work for an agent with another nationally known company where I spent more than 10 years sharpening my skills. Through running an agent’s office by myself for more than 5 years I gained useful knowledge that ultimately led me to start my own Agency. A friend of mine told me about TWFG (The Woodlands Financial Group) a company that offered the flexibility that I had desired. As an Independent Agent, I can write policies through multiple companies with many options.
Whether it’s auto, home, renter life, group health or commercial I can take on risks that other carriers cannot. I pride myself on my ability and desire to get to know each one of my clients and their families and personally research and answer questions about policy details. For example, I help the insured determine if they really need certain coverage or if a particular policy will cover a slow water leak etc. My relationships with my clients and their families allow me to ensure coverage is tailored for their specific needs. I treat my clients like family, advocating for them in both the short and long term and helping them find solutions.
My passion for my clients and my ability to listen and understand their needs I hope sets me apart from other agents. We service in Dallas, Addison, Richardson, Plano, Frisco, McKinney, Prosper etc. as well as Oklahoma.
Has it been a smooth road?
It has been not so smooth but not that bumpy either! I have put in enormous amounts of hard work and hours but I still love what I do. helping others

We love educating and helping our clients across the metroplex.
How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
I see that in this industry, especially in Texas and Oklahoma, that the rates will continue to increase not decrease. This is due to the amounts of storms that have gotten and the fact that so many people pay attention to their smart devices while driving. Autonomous cars right around the corner and will be here before you know it.
