Sharon – please share your story with us.
K6 Wellness Center embodies a natural approach to health and wellness. This center was born from my own struggles with autoimmune issues and her ultimate recovery through lifestyle and nutrition changes I implemented. As a young mother in my 20’s, I thought all moms were exhausted and that was kind of my badge of honor.
I wouldn’t listen to my husband when he begged me to go see a doctor about my crippling fatigue. In fact, it wasn’t until my 3rd miscarriage that I started questioning what was going on with my body. That’s when I learned about autoimmune disease. I began studying Naturopathy and fell in love with the field of holistic health. It has changed my life, my family’s health and now I get to pursue my passion as a career!
K6 Wellness Center now specializes in European Whole Body Thermography, Lymphatic Therapy and Heart Math, along with several other alternative modalities for addressing health issues. K6 Wellness Center has helped thousands of clients since 2006 regain their health through various alternative and holistic means and we look forward to a bright future as we continue to grow and implement the best of new technology with time tested and proven natural therapies.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
When I first began working with clients, I thought I would be a one-woman practice and life would be simple. That is not how things have worked out exactly! I am so blessed to work with a team that is knowledgeable and caring. We have had growing pains but I can honestly say that that is the bumpiest part of our journey and that is amazing to me!
We strive to stay on top of the latest technological advances and latest scientific research surrounding health and nutrition. An important challenge for us is to sift through the “woo-woo” and employ only the proven methods of testing and recovery.
Dealing with sickness is never easy. Many people come to K6 Wellness Center simply because they are out of medical options, or they have given up on whatever treatment plan they are on. We have many clients who have chronic conditions such as Lyme and auto-immune disease, serious conditions such as cancer, celiac, kidney disease, and even hormonal issues that include thyroid, adrenal, and fertility complications. We love helping these clients develop new plans of action to regain their health.
