Today we’d like to introduce you to Adam Boehmer.
Adam, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I started by just taking pictures with my brother for fun. This has turned into many opportunities where I have been involved with brands such as BoyMeetsGirlUSA x Smiley, Normal Objects, Qilonyc and the Apostle Club, I am label, Kensho Studio, twentyoneaugust, Hiro Clark, ofwolvesandthieves. I have gotten sent a pair of shoes from Adidas originals… And was asked to make some content for them. Also did a shoot and dickies posted it on their page.
Recently I have been working with “dalus” as well as “UR,”. This has all been freelance modeling and has not been paid promotion or anything. I have either reached out for the brands or have been asked to do things for them.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The road has not been smooth. I have been tempted many times to stop doing things like this because the opportunities were not coming but I continued. One main struggle that I dealt with was being okay with the content that I was sent to them. Many times I am very hard on myself and want everything to be perfect. Understanding this has allowed me to continue in the collaborations without much worry.
Please tell us about your work.
I am a freelance model that does collaborations with companies to market and encourage their brand on mostly the platform of Instagram.
What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
Recently, I did a shoot with UR. This was a cool experience and I got to meet a lot of cool people along the way. God is moving across all platforms in miraculous ways!! Be on the lookout for UR. Coming out on Jan 16! @youarecomma on Instagram
