Today we’d like to introduce you to Jia Huang.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I grow up in China, I moved to Dallas ten years ago. I always wanted to have a nice and clean Chinese restaurant with many good wind and cocktails selection that I can go to. My dad owned a small restaurant when I was in China, I worked in hospitality industry for over ten years, I love being in the hospitality business.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It’s not smooth, my struggles is finding people that want to work. Especially in restaurant business, there are too many job opportunities, so it’s very hard to find good people.
Jia Modern Chinese & Asian Lounge – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
We are a modern Chinese restaurant service traditional Chinese food. We using very fresh and high-quality ingredients. All my chefs are Chinese and have a lot of experience in cooking good Chinese food.
I am proud to serve the best Chinese food with a log of great wine selection.
What sets us apart from other Chinese restaurants is the service. We trying our best to stand by our customer’s side and do what we can to make our guests happy.
What is “success” or “successful” for you?
I think success is that you have a lot of people working for you that want to following you.
I always stand in other people’s shoes and thinking for them. I do my best to coordinate whatever people need.
