So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
Well alrighty than I’m “CEE” it’s complicated (Lol). I have an old soul here in a millennial generation so I’m just here enjoying my little life, with my introvert extrovert personality (Giggles) . I love life; Life is loving me! It’s a balance, I’m involved in many ventures, things can get complicated at times think of a breaking news story everyday my days are different. As a Correspondent, I’ve have interviewed some of the biggest names in entertainment & the fashion industry. Creator of Tvone network Ms.Cathy Hughs, Comedians Kim fields, Joe Tory , Lunell, Legendary Hall of fame recipients Band Kool & The Gang , Ice T, Freddy Jackson, Master P, Tiny Harris, Romeo Miller, Ralph McDaniels (Video music box creator), Faith Evans etc. I love Conversation! I’ve worked with several radio shows co-hosting; including “The Quiet Storm” with Lenny Green on WBLS FM NYC & “The Reality Check” Doctor with Celebrity Relationship Expert Dr. Ivan Young , as well as Digital radio 953jamz.com in Houston & BKS1Radio.com in NJ. Prior to indulging in radio, I’ve graced countless runways as a Fashion Model leading me to be featured on Times Square New York City Billboards. Guest appearance on The Dr.Oz Show, Good Day America, Old Navy & Dove campaign, Expo’s and more. Also currently I’m the Press Secretary for Global Mixed Gender Basketball League… 1st professional Co-ed Basketball League with CEO James Scott & President Percy “Master P” Miller.
As my journey began more widespread far from anything I could have ever imagine. I founded T.M.E.W to help those onto a similar path with wasting unnecessary time . Which is Tenacitymodels? – (An traveling Modeling & Etiquette Workshop). Passionate about Model Advocacy The mission is to provide a safe haven for proper modeling & etiquette training concentrated into life skills. This is Mentorship through fashion.
How did all of this start?
Let’s reminisce shall we, everything started late night at my previous working establishment I was so bothered due to mandatory overtime; I actually made plans after work so staying was not on my radar that night. Sidebar I’m starting to believe most entrepreneurs stories have the same Introduction mad at Work! (Giggles) any-who, flipping through magazines I ran across a casting call for the next day so I went. Well low and behold my world completely change & nothing could prepare me for this script this was different . I had no training, no mentors, or anyone to speak to regarding becoming a fashion model. Everyone I knew at that time definitely had no interest in anything pertaining to fashion or entertainment.
Ran all around New York City casting heard few Yes / No’s amongst other things but that’s for a later time. I sat asked myself does this gig stand for what I believe in? Without management or modeling agency just my Tenacity, I started booking various types of gigs, Brand Ambassador work , Runway shows, print & commercial . After recognizing how some models were being treated I became completely appalled, things need to change. Booking gigs wasn’t enough anymore- Once I realize I have a voice things changed Tenacity “CEE” model arrived. — I wanted to be apart of change in fashion industry & a voice for models. I started talking; people tuned in Bam radio gave me the opportunity to present change and I’m good at it!
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
A Smooth road (haha) now that’s a good one. Absolutely not! As far as any obstacles and challenges, I’m still going through these things day to day. As I mentioned before Awareness is a must! Mentoring is a must! Obstacles do continue there’s never a dull moment in this business. I travel a-lot you interact with multiple cultures different perspectives . Your circle will change frequently and unexpectedly. Again Balance! Being comfortable with yourself & knowing that every gig is not meant for you is more than knowing half the battle. Actress Ms. Kim Hawthone (from OWN’s GREENLEAF) said to me one day, “You have to be comfortable w/being uncomfortable in this business ” She’s 100 percent right! Best advice ever.

The mission: providing a safe haven where fashion model’s / young ladies can discuss their experiences freely without being blacklisted while perfecting their craftsmanship of life skills on and off the Runway by a professional. Mentoring through fashion. Specialize in proper modeling techniques followed by contract assessment, life skills, Do’s and Don’ts casting call & dining etiquette. Past Participants received magazine exposure and /or participated in major fashion show events. Virtual coaching also available . What makes us different than other programs? Genuine authenticity awareness & SAFETY knowledge. You’re not just a fashion Model you’re a Tenacitymodel! Achieve those dreams!
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
Absolutely! One day, I plan to have my own Televised Talk Show. “It’s definitely time to converse”. For now I’m embracing my journey & following GOD plans, live in my purpose. Continue to contest to conscious conversations through media & help these young ladies maintain ethics, morals, integrity & greatness through mentorship . One day at a time You know? Later this month I’m booked for a youth summit, followed by guest speaker for a Black History Month event , Super excited! Than GMGB press conference. Catch me on your radio /podcast frequency ….. There’s always more however my greatest aspiration continue to flourish w/ TENACITYMODELS aka T.M.E.W.
