Today we’d like to introduce you to Salvador Hernandez.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
Every story is different, everybody is different but we are all connected in some way or another. There comes a point in our lives where we realize where we are and where we want to be, the choice is ultimately ours. We could either do what we need to in order for us to accomplish set goals or let time slip through our hands. I have always been comfortable being uncomfortable. I excel when it comes to networking with any type of people I come across with. We as a community and as humans must help others reach their full potential. There is enough negativity in this world. We must do better for our children’s future and their children’s future.
Has it been a smooth road?
I’ve learned not to complain about my past due to the fact that our past builds the character we are meant to be in this world. I came to this country, not knowing English. I was placed in ESL to learn the language. I remember seeing the other kids play while I was learning how to read Curious George books in my small blue desk just so that I could understand what they were saying to each other. My parents always did the best they could to provide for my older sister and I when we were in school. Now it’s up to me to show them that it was all worth it. They taught me that sacrifice is needed to get you what you need. They raised me to work hard to get myself out of certain situations. Sacrifice, sacrifice, sacrifice is what I will always do to get what I need.
We’d love to hear more about your business.
As I come back home to Dallas, I am returning as a college student, entrepreneur, and motivator. Life is what you make it, and I’m making mine positive and express as full as possible. I think outside the box when it comes to connecting with someone who is one inch away from their goal, one punch away from their knockout, one more step into their race. In reality, I have sat down with people who had no hope, going in and out of jail, having no car and no job, uncovering what they truly can obtain by just building a stronger mindset. To sitting down with business gurus who have properties all over the U.S.. Nothing can stop someone who has the mentality of a lion. I’ve learned to surround myself with those who are above me in some aspects of life. I’ve also learned to let go of the toxic things and people that come along the way. It is a vital key to reach our full potential.
Is our city a good place to do what you do?
Dallas has always been my home. It’s all I know. Back in college soccer (last semester), I would always say, “Dallas stand up” and had around seven other teammates say the same thing because they knew how much I loved Dallas. The people, the growth, and the possibilities here are endless. Like I said before, it’s up to us what we decide to do with our lives.
