Meet Trevor Millet of TM Impressions in Plano

Today we’d like to introduce you to Trevor Millet.

Trevor, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I’ve loved print media since I can remember. I’m a 5th generation printer and I learned most of what I know from my grandfather who I worked closely with at his classic print shop from a young age. I wanted to expand my knowledge of print media into other areas so I went to work for an apparel and large format printing company that was on the cutting edge in technology. I’ve been able to bring all of that knowledge and experience together today in TM Impressions. I now have the capability to supply awesome clients with anything from basic business cards and shirts to custom coasters and masking tape.

Has it been a smooth road?
This has been an awesome ride, I can’t complain! But as with any new business, there are always long hours and unexpected challenges. TM Impressions has 0 external funding so everything from marketing to operations has to be creative and effective. Learning new skills such as web design and graphic design have come through years of experience.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the TM Impressions story. Tell us more about the business.
TM Impressions is a full-service print media provider and design agency. We can offer as much or as little design input as you need to produce a beautiful printed product. We are proud to produce the highest quality products with excellent customer service at affordable rates with no hidden fees and free shipping to the 48 connected states. We specialize in the hospitality industry such as boutique hotels, bars, and restaurants but are open to work with almost any industry. What sets us apart is our vast knowledge of the industry and the ability to provide one on one help with your project to get the context of the project and what you’re trying to accomplish. Normally there is more than one way to go about producing a project. Our incredibly vast vendor network also ensures our clients will receive the best quality products in a timely manner at a great price.

How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
We’ve already seen so much change in the industry over the past 5-10 years, I’m so excited to see what the next 5-10 years have in store! I’m 100% sure that we’ll see a heavy increase in sustainable materials especially in the field of packaging and essential paper printing. Bamboo, hemp, and 100% recycled pulp are already gaining popularity. For large format like banners and signs, there will be a shift to make these into digital media like screens and projectors. We can already see evidence of this through billboards on the highway that are starting to convert to digital screens.
