Thanks for sharing your story with us Peace. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I would say it all started back in California where I was born and raised. I was introduced to real estate back in 2004 and instantly fell in love with all things real estate. I enjoyed constantly meeting new people and was fascinated with all the different designs and styles of beautiful homes. The best part was knowing I was helping people actualize their dreams of living better lives through homeownership and real estate investment. I knew from then on I was meant for this industry. Since then, I’ve had the honor of being top producer, even recognized and featured by renowned builder DR Horton in California. Then fast forward a successful five years, I decided to do the unthinkable at the time.
In a life-changing and risk-taking move, I left everything behind and moved to Dallas, Texas. Looking back on this personal journey, it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I met my beautiful wife, and our world is complete with our beautiful two-year-old son. It’s been a blessing to be able to live my dream and continue real estate in DFW. Since then, I’ve been affirmed as rookie of the year with Ebby Halliday, and also recognized as one of the top 3 producing agents for another brokerage.
My story is only beginning as I continue to expand my business and my vision. The next chapter is an exciting one, having partnered with a good friend and business colleague. We are truly excited to make a positive impact in this industry with our very own hybrid real estate brokerage Stellar Real Estate, here in Dallas and the Fort Worth area.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
I would say there have been some struggles, especially in the beginning being new to Texas. I was starting out in new territory. I didn’t know anyone. I basically had to start all over with my real estate business. I guess that’s why I have even more empathy and passion for helping my clients. I understand what it’s like trying to navigate through unchartered territory, much like being a first-time buyer or investor. With so many unknowns, it definitely can be a bit scary. But thankfully, at the same time, the challenges made it exciting.
So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Stellar Real Estate story. Tell us more about the business.
Stellar Real Estate is what I would call a hybrid real estate brokerage. I am the owner/co-founder, along with my partner Daniel Lee. My role is overseeing and running the day to day operations and agent relations.
We formed this company to empower motivated agents and everyday people toward their financial success. For agents, we want to cultivate their potential and elevate their business to the next level. We believe we have established an effective business model to support this bold vision offering 100% commission (with no cap). This model extends their financial potential in each real estate transaction significantly from the traditional model we’re used to. We like to call this business model Stellar.
The heart of our vision is that we recognize the Stellar potential in our agents and their business. That’s why we are confident and passionate to invest in our agents with a bargain membership while equipping them with quality support, training and mentorship, as well as quality branding, resources, and marketing tools.
