Quanisha, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I always knew I wanted to be in the beauty industry! I started taking Cosmetology classes during high school just to learn about myself that hair wasn’t my passion, after graduating in 2013 I decided to go to Aesthetics School in 2014. I finally graduated from Aesthetics School in 2015 and became licensed in 2017, where I found my passion for Full Body Waxing!
I started working for a big wax company and decided that waxing was my passion and I love making others feel good and BARE! Stepped out on faith and started BARE Full Body Waxing Suite in June 2018 and have been waxing and being consistent ever since! I believe every business starts small and grows in time and consistency is key especially for anything that’s your PASSION!
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Smooth Road … Absolutely not! Very Challenging but a learning journey! I say anything that’s not challenging you is not making you grow, and continue to grow through the things you struggle through! Always focus in your own journey.
What should we know about BARE Waxing Suites? What do you do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
I am Full Body Waxer that specializes in removing hair the healthiest way and making woman feel more confident about themselves. I am known for the BARE Brazilian, Ingrown hair remover, and your go to Wax Specialist! What makes me proud is making other woman feel comfortable and helping/educating on the BARE skin needs.
For good reason, society often focuses more on the problems rather than the opportunities that exist, because the problems need to be solved. However, we’d probably also benefit from looking for and recognizing the opportunities that women are better positioned to capitalize on. Have you discovered such opportunities?
In today’s world, there are lots of opportunities for woman especially being that small business owners/entrepreneurs is very high demand. It’s like now you can start a business literally selling anything, especially in the beauty industry when it comes to woman.
