Today we’d like to introduce you to Skin Care by Viktoria, Viktoria Pascador.
Viktoria, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I was born and raised on the Black Sea Coast of Ukraine. I moved to America in 2001 and lived in New York City, where I enrolled at the Atelier Esthetique Institute of Esthetics on Park Avenue to pursue my lifelong passion for skincare and beauty. At this school, I was educated by the top skincare instructor in the United States, with over 30 years of experience in European beauty treatments. After graduation from the Atelier Esthetique Institute, I began my career as an esthetician at a high-end day spa in the trendy SOHO neighborhood of NYC. In 2012, I moved to Plano with my family to follow my dream of living in Texas and bringing my facial treatments to the wonderful women of the DFW area. I set up my business at the Imagique Salon Suites in Plano, where I continue to provide my facial and skincare consultation business at that location.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Starting and running an esthetics business is not easy. It’s very hard. But it is extremely rewarding because I love to see the smiles on the faces, my gorgeous clients after they see the difference in their skin after my treatments, and the confidence that comes with that.
Please tell us about your practice.
As an esthetician, I specialize in Eastern European style beauty facials. I am known for my customized facials and skincare regimens based on individual skin types and conditions. I am also known for my expertise in performing extractions, as well as my signature European facial massage techniques.
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
My plans for the future are to continue to educate myself as much as possible about skincare treatments and how to make my clients’ skin look and feel great.
