Madison, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
Kitty Candy LLC is a single member limited liability company incorporated in the state of Texas, currently located in Dallas. Our company was originally conceived in April 2016 when I came up with the idea of creating homeopathic all-natural products to cater to women’s pH balance and vaginal health. I launched Kitty Candy on a larger scale in December of 2018 after doing research and observing a major shortage of feminine care products that were effective and safe, but most importantly, all-natural. I became very passionate about feminine health and wellness because I personally know a lot of women who suffer from an array of medical conditions and lifestyle changes that effect their daily lives. Women, including myself are becoming more health conscious and monitor the things that are going in and on our bodies. As women, we tend to worry about the way we look and smell, often being fearful to discuss the things that are stopping us from feeling good about ourselves. This results in a plectra of vaginal and emotional health concerns that go undisclosed until they turn into major problems.
The main goal of Kitty Candy is to help diminish the stigmas associated with speaking about vaginal health, which will eliminate the discomfort surrounding vaginal health because all women, in fact experience vaginal health issues some point in their lives, which is completely normal. I coined the name Kitty Candy while thinking about the embarrassing names and stigmas associated with other over the counter products. I felt the name Kitty Candy was cute, fun and vibrate enough to make a woman feel confident about having feminine hygiene products out in the open. My main goal is for women to feel good about one of the most powerful parts of her body. Feminine hygiene is an utterly essential area for women and most lack the knowledge and resources to conquer it. Adding to that, maintaining appropriate hygiene for the intimate area is one of the most significant factors in the female reproductive system, sexual health, and overall quality of life. Since a child, I was very passionate about beautifying, healing and adoring people. It is a total joy to me to see women united, strong and confident. I believe we as women can banish the stigmas associated with feminine health and wellness together .
As of today, I am under construction of our first building which is now located at: 320 S. Clark Rd # B. Cedar Hill, Texas 75104. Grand opening date tentatively set for Saturday, April 18, 2020. Our plan for the future is to also have a storefront in Houston by the close of 2020.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
For majority of the path to entrepreneurship with my business things have been pretty good. Prior to me quitting my job as a Dallas Police officer for 10 years, jugging my business was really tough. Although I loved serving the citizens of a Dallas, my heart was really yearning to express my creative abilities. Time management was a big huddle and eventually, in November 2019 I retired/resigned as a police officer to pursue my dreams.

Our products include essential elements that will contribute to maintaining a healthy and balance feminine life. When I created this line, my goal was to tackle all of the insecurities I personally get affected women’s daily lives. Feminine hygiene products on the mainstream market are lacking beneficial and healthy products for women. I’m most proud of the amount of support and love I receive from my customs and the positive response from something I created with my mind and my own two hands. Kitty Candy’s products set us apart from other because we listen to our customers, we are tentative to their needs and we create products that have benefits instead of side effects. We offer monthly kits, all-natural treatment, feminine hygiene deodorizes, feminine washes, pH testers and a multitude of products that help women confidently and proactively utilize feminine that will aid in maintaining a balanced ph.
What is “success” or “successful” for you?
Success to me is when you can start before your ready, have a dream in mind, and bring it to reality. Adding to that, having the wherewithal to finish whatever business you start. I feel as long as you can look in the mirror and feel proud, see small or large progress and accomplish realistic goals set forth by yourself. Success shouldn’t be define by what others think, but what you have set in place for yourself. Going forward since I have accomplished a lot in 1 year, I have created larger goals for myself. My ultimate goal is to successfully serve a million people. That’s what ultimately would make me feel the greatest amount of success.
