Today we’d like to introduce you to Jay Truble.
Jay, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I’ve had a hand in music all my life. I’d pretty much given up on making a career of entertainment. I was working a regular 9-5 when a few co-workers heard my music & passed it along to the “higher ups” who strongly urged me to give it a real shot. Two projects and a handful of singles later, I’m here. Performing, traveling and promoting music & merch.
Has it been a smooth road?
Dallas doesn’t have an organized infrastructure for entertainers to prosper, so marketing & promo are the biggest challenges. Making sure the business side is thoroughly maintained. I’m also a father of three so I miss them a lot when I’m away.
Please tell us about your work.
Hyena Gangg Entertainment is my company, and I specialize in writing, performance, & artist development. What sets me apart is my grind. I consistently go harder than my competition. I put out two complete projects within six months. I’ve released three as of this interview.
Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
What I like most about our city is the hunger & raw talent. I dislike the lack of infrastructure & local support. Everyone in power is an out-of-towner.
