Meet Kishan Patel

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kishan Patel.

Kishan, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I moved to Dallas in August of 2018 after job searching for three months. I received my degree from The University of Alabama and began my career in the Hospitality Tech industry and quickly learned that I wanted to pursue a career that I was legitimately passionate about. I bought a camera in December of 2018 wanting to get into car photography. It was nothing fancy, but I was just happy to have a hobby after busy college life.

I began going to car shows every weekend, editing every weekend, just to take a picture that I was happy to look at. It wasn’t long before I started making more and more connections within the car community. Davis Speight with Reserve Auto Group was one of the first people to give me a chance to photograph some of the vehicles in their warehouse! This eventually opened the opportunity to be where I am at now, Digital Content Creator for 360 Wraps. I am surrounded by vehicles every day and quickly learning to create content for one of the best and fastest growing wrap companies in the nation! This opportunity was a blessing and I can’t wait to plant my roots in Dallas slowly. It is a city filled with opportunity if you work hard!

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Life is never smooth. Along the way, I have had several speed bumps on the business side of things, but those situations helped me grow to what I am today. Things are not always as they seem, and always take a deposit! People can be great, but they can also be on the complete opposite of the spectrum. Always think about your actions and make sure you are never giving too much when you aren’t getting anything in return!

We’d love to hear more about your business.
My business started as a hobby. The name came from the car I was driving when I moved up here, a Melting Silver Metallic paint name that I derived Melting Mini Media from. I totaled the car (Gabe was his name) and decided to keep the title in remembrance. I enjoy creating content that catches the eye! I specialize in portrait or vehicle photography. I also can shoot commercials, events, weddings, concerts, pretty much any moment that you can imagine captured, I can do it! I am proud of having the passion for capturing that special moment, whether it being a car flying by or catching an artist giving the performance of their lifetime. I have a full-time job with 360 Wraps as the content creator, so I have the opportunity to practice my photo and video skills every day!

What were you like growing up?
I was a quiet and shy kid. Definitely got into trouble more than I should have, but I always learned from it. I definitely was lucky to grow up with all of my family(9 people in one house) and still love them to this day even though I’m halfway across the country.

Just be more cautious about the crowd you are working towards. Don’t underestimate your own ability!
