Meet Patrice Campbell of Iconic 3ileen & GivenFromaMama in Forth Worth/Denton

Today we’d like to introduce you to Patrice Campbell.

Patrice, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I am Patrice, a true serial entrepreneur or as I like to call it a mompreneur. My business ventures include social media marketing and branding, content creating, author, designer, and model, which all fall under the umbrella of Iconic 3ileen and this year I have started a nonprofit organization “Given From a Mama Inc.” I’ve been working for myself full time now for 2 years after having my daughter. Before she came along, I worked full time as an optician and part time as a DJ and model in New Orleans, La, which is where I’m originally from. The DFW community has been good to my brand and I’m ready to do more work here.

Has it been a smooth road?
The road to successful entrepreneurship has not been smooth. It could always be worse, though. I’ve overcome low sales, doors closed in my face, missed opportunities, slow traffic to my websites and depression. When I first started iconic3ileen.com, I was going through postpartum depression and being a first time mom. It’s hard to push forward when it seems as though your efforts are going unnoticed, but I was determined to succeed. Top of 2020, it all came full circle when I begin my nonprofit for mental health and postpartum depression awareness for other moms like me. I’ve always wanted to share the support I couldn’t receive and having this platform to help other women feels amazing!

Please tell us about your business.
Jack of many trades, but I’m known for modeling and my DJ skills more than anything. However, my company, Iconic 3ileen helps other small businesses with marketing and branding via social media platforms. So I create content, manage social media accounts, and help grow online awareness for brands. It was something I had to learn on my own and knew it was a much needed service. I am proud to say I’ve been able to help over 100 clients/small businesses and I continue to mentor other models that need guidance in the industry. My energy and look sets me apart from others and I’m not a one-trick pony I have many talents, from graphic design to designing apparel, to designing websites, to publishing books I have several ways to create! It’s also the way I speak it is straight to the heart chakra & I grab your attention with my appearance and dance moves. I know the power of being myself and use it to my advantage.

How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
In the next five years, I see the business in a physical location/Flagship location where you can get all things iconic. I plan on expanding the brand so that I can have a place for local supporters to gather as a multiply purpose center. Which can include: brunch and luncheons, meetings, art space for creatives, and drop off for donations. In ten years, I’m hoping to scale the GFAM business and have partnerships with larger brands to create national awareness for mental health and combine that with small businesses that are run online.
