Today we’d like to introduce you to Itzamar Julian.
Itzamar, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I wanted to get into Real Estate Since 2014, but I didn’t know where to commence my Journey. In 2016 I got offered a position at a construction and remodeling company and I thought that would be a great opportunity for me to familiarize myself with the actual house structure. Which I did, that job taught me so much in regard to different parts of a home, I know what I am looking at when I take my clients to see a house, and I can help them look for specific details around.
Two years later, I joined RE/MAX Town & Country, and I have enjoyed the ride since. When I came in, my goal was to educate as much people as possible on the home buying process, I hate to hear someone made a purchase without having all the knowledge and resources needed. 85% of my clients have been first time home buyers, and I cannot put into words the joy I feel when their dream of homeownership becomes a reality. I have not let the fact of me being younger than many others in the industry, scare me away from trying to help people of all ages with their real estate needs. I’ve had the privilege to help people buy, sell, and lease.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No, It definitely has not been smooth road. One of the first obstacles I faced was the fact that I looked younger than I was, which was 24 at the moment, 26 now. I understand why, people have to put their trust with what may be their biggest asset in me, I know it can be nerve wrecking. I am grateful that my first clients put their faith in me and gave me a chance to guide them. Then, four months passed before someone else wanted to give me a chance, but I’ve never given up, I made myself available and if all I could do was give people accurate information and guidance, then I knew I was doing my job. It is always my goal to earn my client’s trust.
At the beginning of my career, I heard “no” more often than I can remember, people I had known for years told me they would buy and hire me as their agent, but didn’t.
Alright – so let’s talk business. What else should we know about your work?
I specialize in residential real estate and have made most of my business helping first time home buyers. I joined RE/MAX Town & Country, and it was the best decision I made, as a new agent. One of the reasons which drove me to make that decision, was the amazing training my broker offers me.
we are one of the top offices in the country, I knew I needed to surround myself and learn from the best. Also, I love the culture within, which is putting our client’s needs first.
What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
Ah, this is a hard one, I cannot put my finger on a moment. I feel proud every time my client’s and I make it to the finish line and I can hand them the key to their new home. It’s always a proud moment for everyone involved.
I am so thankful for my past and current clients, and future clients, for trusting me and allowing me to be a part in what is a special journey.
