Today we’d like to introduce you to Deon Fowler.
Deon, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Considering what I experienced and witnessed growing up, I knew I wanted to help others in some capacity as it related to money and finances. After becoming the first person in my family to graduate high school and college, I accepted a job offer as a banker and moved to Dallas, where I would eventually become one of the top bankers.
With a new city comes new opportunities, and the chance to start my own moving company was one of them. Surprisingly, I had never seen an actual moving truck before coming to Texas, but this all changed shortly after living in my first apartment where I seemed to notice one every day. The taste for entrepreneurship and something to call my own only grew within me the more I talked to business clients. One day while having small talk with one of my good clients, he stated that he was planning to move soon, and I took that opportunity to inform him of my moving company that I had been constructing. Keith became my very first customer, and a week later, I put in my two weeks’ notice.
Four years and thousands of moves later, I now operate the company in a different capacity and have also become a certified life coach. Coaching and consulting is part of my life’s calling. I love beating the odds and giving others hope that they can too. I didn’t know it at the time, but my next business venture, Premier Mobile Billboards, would not only be a great compliment to my other businesses, but also an avenue to spread more positivity and hope in the world.
Premier Mobile Billboards has existed for roughly a half year now. I was intrigued after reading an interesting article about LED billboard trucks, and later seeing first hand how businesses and organizations could benefit from their mobility and digital capabilities. After receiving divine confirmation, I embarked upon my third business and ordered the first truck. As much hard work that it takes, I enjoy the process of starting at ground zero, building a business from scratch, and acquiring that first customer. I couldn’t be more thrilled with how this business has started, and where I see it going.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Like in life, struggles in business are definite, and in some ways necessary to make us better individuals and entrepreneurs. Having said that, mobile digital billboard trucks are relatively new in the out of home advertising market, so bringing more awareness to the industry of their impact and effectiveness is a work in progress.

I’d like to begin by saying our mission to utilize our truck not only as a mobile billboard but also as a beacon of inspiration for others is what separates us. What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
One of my old highschool football teammate’s dad reached out to catch up one day, and he stated, hard work, determination, and passion have always been my keys. The success I have had I would certainly contribute to these 3 factors, along with being curious, and a desire to learn.
