Today we’d like to introduce you to Tonya Blake.
Tonya, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
Established in 1998, I have worked on residential projects all over the Dallas Metroplex and East Texas. As a Designer I have 19 years’ experience that ranges from new home construction, to remodels, to redesign in residential and commercial spaces to real estate staging. As a highly creative individual with an insurmountable passion for design, I strive to create a livable, timeless environment that will reflect the personality of each client. I love helping clients figure out their ‘style’ and what they want incorporated in their spaces. This could be from classic, timeless interiors that have a little modern or rustic flair added in, or a space that is eclectic, southwest, country, or any other style. You name it and I can do it! In whatever you are looking for I will help to achieve the end result of what you want.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I started out in my business as part time while my raising my children. Now that they are both young men and out of the nest, I am working full time doing what I absolutely love! There really have been no struggles along the way other than juggling many hats as a business woman and a Mom 🙂

At Tonya Blake Interiors our specialty is consultations and redesign. We strive to create a livable, timeless interior in your home that will reflect the personality of each client. Whatever your budget or style, we’ll work with you to discover exactly what needs to be achieved for a one day redesign or the process of decorating several rooms or your entire home.
We are best known for RENOVATIONS and NEW HOME CONSTRUCTION, together we will determine the scope of the project, establish a time frame for completion, and set an affordable budget to achieve the desired result.
New construction can pose many tough decisions about the interior design of your new home. We will work with you in the specification process of all interior and exterior items including paint color, flooring, light fixtures, countertops, backsplash, and anything else you need assistance with. All these selections will harmonize after the selection process. You’ll be able to visualize what your home will look like when completed.
For your home renovation, you may be starting with a clean slate or combining current furnishings and accessories with new or antique pieces to refine the style of your space. Tonya Blake Interiors will be here to assist you with color coordination, texture and proportion to produce compelling and timeless environment that breathes personality.

I have always believed in all aspects of my business and personal life to give gratitude to the Lord above! I cannot do anything without His guidance. Always be honest, dependable and a very good listener.
