Meet Maricella Rodriguez of Ada Boutique in Garland

Today we’d like to introduce you to Maricella Rodriguez.

Maricella, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Since I could remember I loved clothes, in middle school my niece and sister would pick their clothes for the week in my closet. Coming from a family of eight and having four of my own was hard going for my dream. Lately I’ve been putting my goals and dreams in place.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
No, I actually started in 2016 but being a full time mom, I had to focus on them and what was best for them at the time. Now that their older I feel myself fighting to make my dream come true to leave them something when I am gone.

Tell us more about the business.
I sell woman’s and children’s clothing. Proud of my company, because it’s something for my three daughters. ADA stands for Ashley Dannie-Marie Arianna. I want to show them no matter how old you get your dreams are still possible.

Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
When I walked into 2020 my mind was set that I was starting with my company. Everything was put on hold with the pandemic.
