Today we’d like to introduce you to Itoro Daniel.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Itoro. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I often reflect on how this journey started for me and the purpose behind how my love for the restoration of hearts came about. There’s plenty of life experiences, both painful and joyful that I can recollect on that pushed me into this life calling. As a young girl going through massive changes in passions, goals, relationships, etc., I struggled heavily on who I believed I was and what I was capable of. People told me what to believe about myself, what life choices to make, and how strong or weak I was in various areas of my life. This yielded me to deal with self-rejection, which showed itself in a numerous amount of ways. I remember telling myself if I could get passed these inner wounds, I would spend my whole life making sure others would be set free from the bondage that we were never created to be in. After navigating through my own deliverance and healing, I was set out to bringing other women and men on this path to glory with me.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
I would be lying if I say this journey has been smooth. When it comes to helping other people grow into their best selves, what I like to call their God-ordained selves, it first shines a light on your own internal dilemmas. Before I could walk in this life calling, I was hit with a very gruesome, yet fulfilling healing and forgiveness process. I had to go back and forgive those that had caused me pain and the pain I’ve caused myself. This pushed me into a lot of self-discovery, fasting, praying, meditation, etc. However, this was just the beginning. I was then pushed into learning the ins and out of what is required of me as a leader in this realm of work.
We’d love to hear more about your work.
This ministry focuses on equipping men and women to walk in their full identity in order to walk in their own purpose. We tend to the hearts of those who have been rejected, abandoned, betrayed, outcasted, etc. to be fully whole beings in their homes and society. Though some believe that certain life issues one has to deal with for the rest of their lives, we believe that total healing, freedom, and deliverance is possible for everybody walking on this Earth and it is important to obtain. It brings me great joy to see those that have been blessed and walking through their healing process even now through this ministry’s mentorship program!
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
I hope to expand the reach of this ministry to establish programs into schools and other public institutions all over the globe that help people heal as well as equip those to push others to do the work necessary for their own authenticity. Walking in one’s true identity should be prioritized greatly and it starts with those that are given the ability to speak life into individuals, for example, teachers, parents, spiritual leaders, etc.
