Today we’d like to introduce you to Francia Noble.
Francia, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
The 3TM Group started as a means to leave corporate America in 2007. My youngest child was about to start kindergarten and I wanted to be the parent who would greet her every afternoon. So, after speaking with persons working in and around the positions that involved customer service and collections; I believed that I had all the tools to start my own consulting company. I did not pay attention to the declining economy and quickly learned that my time of entry into the entrepreneur world was off. I have spent many years finding my ideal fit for the business. I have arrived where I am today after much prayer and dedication to being best version of myself as possible. It also took some time to find my “niche” as an entrepreneur. When I think about all the ways that I have succeeded, I am overcome with emotion.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No, the road has not been smooth. Like many business owners, I have dealt with the challenges of running a business like many others. Juggling my time is still a struggle, as I continue to work in corporate America. I have also learned how to prioritize all the activities that people do not see, like creating content for my social media or the networking with other business associates. I think one of the most significant struggles for me was the lack of support in the beginning. It took me some time to recognize that some of the external motivating factors would not be coming from those closest to me; and being such a nurturing person, that was a tough pill to swallow. Now when I do not feel as I have that support, I remember all the people I am serving, and my world is right again.
We’d love to hear more about your work.
My business consists of different streams.
1) Noble Life Coaching is a boutique coaching practice that focuses on helping those who seek balance with their mental health and persona from a Christian based foundation. With an educational background in psychology and business, the goal is to offer my clients the tools to be able to achieve a life that speaks to them on a higher spiritual level. This I believe will free them to excel in other areas of their life.
2) I officiate weddings under A Noble Beginning. When I became a minister, I certainly had an idea of how God would use me to serve people, but I was wrong. I have married couples in their early twenties and officiated over a vow renewal of a couple who were celebrating being married for 50 years. Being a wedding officiant has even landed me a spot on an episode of Lifetime TVs Married at First Sight (season 7): I married Tristan and Mia. That was surreal!
3) Francia Noble the bestselling author – author of Doing Business God’s way and just released my second book Hunger & Thirst. Both books are devotionals where I share scriptures, quotes, prayers, and personal experiences related to the scripture. I am already thinking about the next book.
Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
I spent many summers in the country with various family members. Whether it was in the massive garden, I called it a field, picking vegetables, and helping to prepare them for later consumption to watching my grandfather take care of the animals. In my teen years that time was spent babysitting for my uncle who was a retired Army Vet turned business owner. Maybe that is where my entrepreneurial spirit comes from? However, I have to say that some of my fondest childhood memories are of spending time during the summer, cranking the ice cream maker with my mother. If you have never had to turn the crank on an ice cream maker with the ice and rock salt, you have not lived!
