Today we’d like to introduce you to Shronda Pierson.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Shronda. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I have worn many different hats in life. I have been in the banking industry and served from teller to assistant vice president and later many years of mortgage banking. My husband and I have owned a restaurant franchise. I have also served as a trainer and training and development coordinator. All of these experiences have helped me to grow into the entrepreneur that I am today. I had had a passion for Real Estate since I was 19 years old when my husband and I purchased our first home for our growing family. We were told that we shouldn’t pursue that dream at such a young age but that didn’t stop us. We were 19 and 20 years old and became homeowners. I want to always be a beacon to others to follow their dreams and stay the course to make it happen.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
The road is not easy, but most definitely worth it. The joy that I receive helping homeowners unlock their dreams is unmatched. I have learned that being a Realtor, you have to become very skilled at troubleshooting, problem-solving and finding reasonable solutions to issues as they arise.
We’d love to hear more about your work.
I sell homes, lots of homes and with that, I build meaningful relationships. As a realtor being personable is one of the most important aspects. Also, being empathetic, compassionate, and loving what I do are essential parts to the success of my company. What sets me apart is my commitment to use my platform to aid in building communities that we live, work, learn, and play in.
What were you like growing up?
As a child, I was raised and reared by my grandparents, which afforded me the opportunity to interact in business relationships at a really early age. Basically, I’ve always had an old soul and quickly learned how to push myself beyond limits. They made it a point to make sure that I had social involvement and always challenged my mind by the extracurricular activities that I participated in, such as piano and voice lessons, Campfire Council, pageants, sports and ministries within my church.
