Today we’d like to introduce you to Jasmine Williams.
Jasmine let us start with your story. We would love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Vanzzini Art Studio started with a need for me to have a fun and creative outlet. I have always been into arts, whether it was within the realm of makeup, dance, to actual paintings. However, I always wanted to venture into the world of resin. With the additional time I was given during this pandemic, I decided to give it a try and absolutely fell in love with the art form! I knew that I wanted to share with others the joy that I feel when I look at a finished canvas. I eventually transitioned to following my visions and created my art studio.
I wanted to name my business after something solid and meaningful to me. It took me a little time, but it finally came to me that I should include the name “Vanzzini,” which was my grandmother’s maiden name. She was the sole reason for my introduction into the world of arts as she was an amazing ballet dancer, poet, and artist. She always allowed me the freedom of expression and fluidity in creativity and never held me back. It only felt right, and it feels amazing to be able to share with others such a special meaning for me with them. I only hope that I have made her proud with how far I have grown throughout the years as an artist and as the first businesswoman within my family.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
As with any business, you absolutely have many ups and downs. For myself, I have learned a lot about my worth as an artist, how to enforce certain policies better, and how to take deserved breaks and days off! I pour everything (literally) into every single custom I create for a client. I have had to come to the realization that it is “ok” to have set business hours and to stick to them. Aside from that, it is constant learning and growing for me and I am enjoying every bit of this process.
Please tell us about Vanzzini Art Studio.
Vanzzini Art Studio is home-based (now) and is currently located in Fort Worth, Texas. My pieces are unique hand-poured resin art that creates healing and a higher purpose for your space(s), I love creating from the visions that come to me. Custom requests are always welcome, your canvas upon request can include healing crystals, enhancing your vision and energy within your space(s) or I can include handmade crystal clusters for a beautiful pop within the gems on your canvas. Rich and stunning colors that you request are placed harmoniously onto your canvas for a beautiful vision of colors. Finally, detailed work is strategically placed to finish off the art piece and to bring it all together into a cohesive, unique piece of art. We work together to bring your vision to canvas, creating positive energy within your space and something you would be proud to show off. I do work on a multitude of canvas shapes from classic squares, letters, circles, even state shapes! The possibilities are endless, and I love that clients are given the same freedom of expression as I was gifted.
I also create coasters both floral (no pressed flowers, all hand made) and other colorful designs for a fun pop of color to any dinner setting or desk space.
Every single client receives free shipping or local delivery and I take pride in offering a payment plan for those who would prefer to spread out their owed balance. It is an easy payment plan and gives clients the opportunity to obtain stunning, quality art in more economical payments for their monthly budgets. I do have a website that provides more information regarding more details on my payment plan, policies, how to order, and more!
Lastly, I will be launching an E-Class within this year, teaching how to complete resin art on canvas and in coasters. More details will be posted within my website and Instagram very soon and I am overly excited to introduce those who have wanted to learn more on resin, how to create stunning art pieces for themselves.
If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
The only thing I would have done differently is to have started sooner when I genuinely wanted to. However, everything happens for a reason and I do not ever regret my choices in life. I am where I should be now, and I am completely thankful for the ongoing support from everyone. The response to my creations has been incredibly positive and I strive to keep exceeding that.
