Meet Brianna Dillon of Transform and Move Forward Coaching and Consulting in Oak Cliff

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brianna Dillon.

Brianna, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
As a transformational life coach, I believe that you know from the minute you’re capable of giving advice if your a coach or not. I was always the one friend that people would go to for advice, wisdom, or even prayer. In the fall of 2017, I went through a major transition in my life that shook my household. I went through a divorce, which once again left me as a single mother of three struggling to figure out how to pay the bills, keep the roof over our head, all while keeping my sanity. Talk about a challenge, right? I had to learn myself all over again. I was thrown in the water with a paddle, a life jacket, and three kids and all I had to my name was prayer. With the help of God, I went through a journey of self-discovery. I had to get Unstuck from the mentality of brokenness and emptiness.

My family and my closest friends played a big part in me, keeping my sanity. With much prayer and guidance, I was led to my now mentor, Kenesia Mouton, Owner/Founder of Powered for Purpose life skills and enhancement coaching. She held my hand and coached me through different trials. I shortly learned that I wanted to be the friend and coach that a lot of women don’t have the opportunity of having. I desired to be the cheerleader in young Christian women’s corners who were much like me. Stuck. Hence, In August of 2018, I was certified as a transformational coach and that’s where this fulfilling journey began. I am the Unstuck Coach because that is what I’m purposed to do in the lives of others. Help them recognize where they’re stuck and coach them in moving forward.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
A smooth road? What’s that?! No, most of the challenges I’ve encountered have all been internal. I’ve battled self-doubt, the feeling of being unworthy, and don’t forget the enemy of all enemies comparison. Social media will trick you into believing that you’re not “there yet” (wherever there maybe) or that the Jones is always one step ahead. What I’ve learned and challenged my crew is to always prove your fears and doubts wrong. Suppose I chose to sit and wonder “what if” because of my feeling of unworthiness, I would never have accomplished some of the great things I have been blessed and graced to accomplish. One thing that my mother showed me constantly was that you always stronger than your biggest insecurity and I’ve held on to that teaching through my internal challenges.

Please tell us more about your work, what you are currently focused on and most proud of.
As a transformational coach, I help women get unstuck in different situations, whether it be relationships to personal, by using classes, courses, one-one coaching, accountability, and goal setting. Those who come to me are ready to be pushed and moved beyond their old self to be introduced to their new. I push you past what you thought you were into who you are becoming. I am always proud when I see someone growing when my clients come to me for a one on one, they usually come in search of something or they don’t see themselves as they should and once they have completed their one one one or course, they see themselves differently and they move forward stronger and feeling more equipped and ready to take on the world.

I love that and I am most proud of that very thing! What sets Coach Bri apart from others? I will never give you any advice or coach you through something I have no experience or knowledge of. I sincerely put the best for the client first and there is not a dollar amount that would change my heart. Coaching with me is simple – We Get Unstuck, Transform and Move forward in a healthy and honest way. There is no grey area and as long as you put in the work, you will see results.

What were you like growing up?
Growing up, I was the happy kid that was always laughing and smiling when you saw me. I wasn’t the most popular in school and you would often find me in the public library (I loved and still do love a good book). My parents were really good at letting my younger sibling and I be who we wanted to be. Our imaginations ran wild one day. I was a princess and the next day, I was a fire fighting, ballerina astronaut. Music was my first love, and I listened to everything Pop, Rock, Classical, Hip Hop, Jazz. If it had a good beat and was clean, my parents would let me listen to it. I was very creative as a child, always coming up with different skits with my barbies, creating music videos, or writing books. I was known most for my very raw and candid honesty. It was never the appropriate time or place when I choose to speak up. I asked the questions and said the things that no one wanted to say out loud but everyone was thinking. As I got older, I learned that my honesty was a gift and my speaking my mind was never the problem. I just needed to use wisdom when speaking! Which transitioned into my coaching style now.
