Meet Cody Arnold of Till Christ Returns in Arlington

Today we’d like to introduce you to Cody Arnold.

Cody, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I’m young compared to most other entrepreneurs. But, I’m definitely motivated! I started just selling a few shirts, but eventually got more ideas then increased my selection. I donate 10% of all proceeds to Mission India, which is the lowest reached country when it comes to the gospel. I do what I love to spread the love of God.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Not starting with a higher budget, b
eing a Sole Proprietor and learning everything from scratch.

Till Christ Returns – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
My business was based on just an Instagram account (@tillchristreturns). I’ve always planned on going somewhere with it, but never really looked into making it a business until recently. Of course, I save most of the profit for college and for other good causes, after donating 10% to Mission India. I’m most proud of how far it has come considering I’ve started from scratch all by myself. What sets me apart from others is that I’m only 17 compared to other entrepreneurs who are starting in their mid 20’s.

What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
My proudest moment is making my first sale! It doesn’t sound like anything too much, but considering I had to learn everything, I didn’t know if I was doing it right. It really secured me. Also, getting pictures of people enjoying my product just brought a huge smile to my face.
