Meet Kelon Moore

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kelon Moore.

Kelon, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
My career started in television, landing me on productions like Extreme Home Makeover (ABC), The Biggest Loser (NBC), America’s Got Talent (NBC), Police Women (TLC), The Great Food Truck Race (Food Network), NBA All-Star Weekend (TNT), Super Bowl XLV (FOX), and Good Morning America (ABC).

After a few years of network television, I moved to the nonprofit sector, working as a Producer and Communications Director for over eight years. There I oversaw the budget, development, and execution of four live multi-camera broadcasts a week and all post-production and marketing efforts. I took that leadership experience, coupled with my passion for arts & entertainment, and started my own company.

Has it been a smooth road?
It hasn’t been a smooth road, but nothing great comes easy. I struggled with a loss of confidence for a while because, frankly, I kept wondering if my dreams of producing for film and television were truly realistic and attainable. That caused me to stop chasing my dreams altogether at one point. I grew comfortable working in a salaried position for the first time (I started freelancing in TV straight out of college). However, I was unfulfilled because I had unknowingly removed the faith component from my career journey, and I was dying a slow death to complacency. Combining that feeling with a lack of time/energy remaining for my wife and daughters, I prayed about it and resigned from my position to focus on health and family. That was one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever made, both financially and emotionally. Still, I can’t stress how necessary it was for my physical, spiritual, emotional, financial, and mental health, and really my overall development.

We’d love to hear more about your work.
We are a Texas-based creative agency that specializes in video production and release strategy. Our expertise helps clients deliver engaging content that maximizes visibility and fosters memorable brand interactions. I really love building and leading teams, and through the agency, I get to work with some of the dopest creatives and business leaders. I think what sets us apart is the rich customer experience we deliver. We’re not successful simply because of knowledge and skills; we’re successful because we combine knowledge and skills with a real desire to help our clients achieve their goals. I’m genuinely proud of the brands, products, services, content, and people we’ve helped develop.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
I’m an Oak Cliff native, and for the duration of my life, I haven’t lived more than an hour away from Dallas. Even during my college years, I spent most weekends in Dallas. So I’ve seen the city change a lot over the years – for better and for worse. I’m selfishly a fan of new people and businesses moving here because I get new experiences without leaving home (lol). And I love love LOVE how the arts & entertainment scenes are evolving here! However, in my opinion, there is still a race and class divide in Dallas that continues to disenfranchise mostly the southern sector. As one of my clients always says, “When you look up north and then look down south, Dallas really is a tale of two cities.”
