Today we’d like to introduce you to Kendall Johnson.
Kendall, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
As a child, I knew I was destined for greatness. I feel my Collegiate Years molded me into the person I am today. They geared me into growth. I am an HBCU Graduate of Texas College in 2013. Presently, I am pursuing my Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice with an Emphasis in Law Enforcement. I always knew I wanted to be a Pillar In Our Community as well as in Law Enforcement, and in The Church.
I’ve worked in the Field of Law Enforcement for over ten years. I’ve been an Officer, Corrections Officer, Security Officer, Substance Abuse Counselor and Private Investigator. In 2018, I released a Book entitled ‘Searching For A Good Woman,’ which fulfilled my life long dream of becoming a published author and have book signings. I’m am currently working on completing my second book, which will be released by January 2021.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Everyone that is destined for greatness has to endure through several seasons of trials before Glory arrives. March 2020, I became homeless, sleeping in my car. I lost the majority of everything I earned and worked for, including a relationship that I thought was going to be the last one; however, God said not so. That left me to start over completely from scratch. By the Grace of God, I have done that, in spite of it being a Pandemic. I’m no longer homeless, I was blessed with a new vehicle, and I started a new business – Chasing A Dream Productions and The True Blue Podcast. Currently, I run my Businesses with a Team of 5, while working as a Licensed Private Investigator.

Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
If I had to start over, I would’ve planned more and focused more on my goals in my earlier years. Although I never thought my life would take the turn it did, but I’m glad for the opportunity to grow by enduring it.
