Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
So, I’ve always loved clothing and dressing up. Fashion was one thing that’s continued to grow as I got older, and once I graduated, I kept wanting to explore all sides of it-I learned how to sew, sketching for designing, and one avenue I enjoy, as you see, is styling. A friend of mines asked me to style him for fun about a year ago, and I kept doing it for friends to practice. I kept getting better, and one of my girls told me how much she liked what I did for her and how I should start charging.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
No. A lot of days it’s about time management and staying focused and motivated. I’m the type of person who wants to give out the best in anything and everything I do, especially when it comes to paying clients. I truly put my best into helping style others, so sometimes I put a little extra time to make sure I am fully happy with what I’m providing, and one struggle with that is understanding the client still may not like it. So all of that has been a learning experience.

I’m Zuri Georgestone, creator of Zurie Brand. I specialize in fashion styling, ranging from personal to photoshoots. One thing that sets me apart is my detail in finding what you need. Me being someone who caters to all body types, price ranges, and occasions, I pride myself on the effort and time that all my clients get for the best quality service all around. I’m able to do different styles and really take into account your personal taste and comfort; for my more adventurous clients, I curate looks with more forward pieces.
