Exploring Life & Business with Christopher Square of Uppityville Studios

Today we’d like to introduce you to Christopher Square.

Hi Christopher, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Growing up as a child, I was raised in the church in which gave me my first taste of music and sound design. In elementary school, I was privileged with learning how to play the violin. As time progressed, I learn how to play multiple instruments as well as how to sing. Once graduating High School, I attended Wiley college where I studied music education. In 2002 I started recording myself, only to later on, in 2009, I enrolled into Fullsail University, where I studio sound design and music production. That brings us to today; I am the owner and operator of Uppityville Studios in Grand Prairie, TX.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Throughout my journey, I had ups and downs. Like anything else, I’ve had days where I wanted to give up, but the fire that burns inside of me for music kept me going.
