Thanks for sharing your story with us Tania. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
Several years ago, I came across a life-changing opportunity to work with the non-for-profit organization Humanity First. As part of the Humanity First team, I was in charge of arranging fundraising bazaars, first locally and nationally. Arranging these fundraising bazaars meant that I needed to figure out strategies to market these large-scale events. I first encountered marketing, which is where the foundation for my passion was laid.
I went on to work for a startup and then eventually decided to take the leap and launch my own company. It’ll be three years this February since Blue Seed Solutions first opened its proverbial doors. I still remember those first few months, and it was exciting and scary all at the same time. I was fortunate to have some great contracts right off the bat, some incredible friends who had faith in me to hand over their businesses to me. I learned so much, and it was an exciting time to work in the after school care industry and food industry. That time was a time of development and growth, and that carries on even today. Every day and every week, I learn something new. What I do still excites me. Trying to come up with a new website or just working on new accounts and how to launch them is very exciting, and watching them succeed is very rewarding.
This last year we’ve seen exponential growth as more and more businesses are starting to put stock in their online presence, investing more in their social media and websites. On top of that, more and more consumers turn away from brick and mortar stores and turn online, which has also benefited our business. I saw this trend coming for years but was not expecting it so soon. I believe COVID has microwaved this timeline. But the reality is that a company’s website and online presence matters more now than ever.
Your website is your storefront and how you want to display your storefront is the most important thing out there. And that’s what we do. We help companies enhance their online presence and take it to the next level by helping them set up their eCommerce sites and set up online shops.
We will start to see some innovative trends in marketing, and we are poised to take advantage of these opportunities for our clients. More companies will continue to use virtual platforms to connect with their clients; use virtual platforms at live events; social media will become a platform for purchase, not just information as we advance, such as Instagram Shop and Facebook Shop. And, of course, the importance of SEO will only continue to grow.
Of course, the success we’ve seen would not be possible without my partners, Maham Ahmad and Zahia Shah, who are not only my family but my team as well. I can throw anything at my team, and they will do a great job with it. If there’s one thing I’ve learned in my journey, it is to surround yourself with people who not only support what you do but have the same passion as you do. That will carry you far.
Has it been a smooth road?
Even the challenges were lessons therefore, I would say it was all a smooth road. I firmly believe how we handle challenges says a great deal about us.
