Rising Stars: Meet Avery Sennin

Today we’d like to introduce you to Avery Sennin.

Hi Avery, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory
I am an artist from Lewisville, TX. I started rapping when my senior year in high school. I used to freestyle at the lunch table and in the locker room since around 8th grade, and the kids would always rock with it. I eventually built up the confidence to make music. Since then, I’ve made connections with many talented and like-minded people, and I’ve made a lot of moves to set myself up for a bright future. It’s been a long grind, but I am in a better mental space than I’ve ever been. I have a great support system, my music is doing well, and I plan to amplify my success tenfold this year.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Definitely has had it’s highs and lows. The lows created the man I am now, however, and I am grateful.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I rap and produce, and I’m mostly known for my songs Back In My Day, Pardon Me, Line Up, and Ninja Way Freestyle.

Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
Quiet, unless around the homies. I played video games and watched anime. I wasn’t necessarily popular, but I was always well-known. I really just did me and stayed out the way, like I do now.
