Steve, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
Golden Tickets opened its doors on April 25th, 1988, in Plano, Texas. The company was formed and owned by Ram Silverman, Stephen & Jan Parry.
After the first year of growth, we opened Golden Sports Tours division because many clients wanted Hotels, Rental cars and transportation to the events. It became apparent that our specialty was in the area of National Events. We then focused our attention and efforts on major events, such as: Super Bowl, Masters, Daytona 500, Kentucky Derby, World Series, World Cup, Winter & Summer Olympics, etc.
We also provide tickets and packages to all professional sports teams in the NBA, MLB, NFL & NHL. Along with that we also handle all College team sports and the NCAA Championship. Concerts and theater tickets are also included in the millions of dollars’ worth of tickets found on our website.

We are also experts at handling major worldwide events such as the Olympics (Winter & Summer), and the World Cup. We have bought and sold tickets to these and all events for the past 30 years.
We have continually dealt with the ever changing ticket industry, the search engines, the ticket exchanges, etc. We were among the 50 originating brokers of the NATB (National Association of Ticket Brokers) in 1994, and Steve was the founding President for 3 years and is still a member of the Board today. Golden Tickets are upstanding members of the BBB, Dunn & Bradstreet and local Chambers of Commerce.
We are continually embracing the new technologies being brought into our industry. And the challenges that come with those new innovations. We are also great supporters of the Ronald McDonald houses and Special Olympics.
Golden Tickets – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
We handle tickets for all teams in all Sports. Our specialty is the Super Bowl & The Masters. For the Super Bowl, we have a large Tailgate party every year www.blitztailgateparty.com. For the Masters, we have a high-end hospitality facility www.The1018club.com and a home rental company www.diamondhomerentals.com to compliment that event. We also specialize in the World Cup and Olympics. We have been one of the leaders in our industry for 30 years
