Today we’d like to introduce you to Dallas Royal Doulas.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Launched in August 2020. Dallas Royal Doulas Agency is Dallas/Fort Worth’s first black-owned doula agency. After a series of back-to-back black maternal deaths, founder and owner Ebon’Nae Piggee felt compelled to make more of an impact by bringing a group of like-minded doulas together. Dallas Royal Doulas provides women of color with the professional support they deserve from women who look them.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Helping families navigate through systemic barriers in the medical system can be challenging. However, through education and local resources, moms can find culturally competent providers and feel empowered to make educated decisions.

Our services include Labor doula Postpartum doula Childbirth education Classes, Lactation support Belly binding and Placenta encapsulation. We offer a variety of affordable doula packages, both virtual and in person.
