Today we’d like to introduce you to Tiera Daniel.
Hi Tiera, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Growing up, I’ve always knew, I had an obsession with fashion. Losing my mother at a young age wasn’t easy. I wasn’t taught all of the “girly girl” things most kids my age were taught. I was forced to learn the do’s and don’ts of being a woman on my own and how to be fashionable. However, I didn’t let my childhood become a disadvantage for me. I knew fashion was apart, who I was. My story has prompted me to work a little harder to achieve my goals and to be successful. As I got older, I was determined to be an entrepreneur. I had wanted. I had dreams. I wanted to own an online clothing boutique.
During the pandemic, I realized it was the right time to start building my brand. This is when ShopInHoney was born. I strive to create a brand that encourages women to embrace their beauty. Often times as women, we’re so hard on ourselves about the way we look. Whether it be our pudge, our arms, or overall feeling like something doesn’t look good on us. We have to normalize embracing our beauty. ALL WOMEN ARE BEAUTIFUL. Let’s not be so hard on ourselves. Let’s get into the habit of practicing self-love. I want women to feel confident in whatever they wear without worrying about their imperfections or what others may think.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Throughout this journey, I’ve discovered that being a business owner is hard. As a business owner, I try to make everything perfect. I learned that there is no rule book to how a business should be ran. I learned not to be so hard on myself. This process has taught me that not everything has to be a certain way. It’s okay to make a mistake and learn from it. Every day is a new learning opportunity for me. What keeps me going is my customers. All of the support everyone has given me so far has been nothing short of amazing. I want to say thank you! Thank you for keeping me going.

What matters the most to me is knowing that every customer feels confident with their purchase. I want every customer to feel as if they can message me with any questions and not feel like they’re getting a scripted answer. The positive experience matters to me. Without my customers, there would be no me.
