Meet Jason Bahamundi | Entrepreneur and Endurance Sports Enthusiast

We are thrilled to be connecting with Jason Bahamundi again. Jason is an Entrepreneur and Endurance Sports Enthusiast and is also a content partner. Content partners help Voyage in so many ways from spreading the word about the work that we do, sponsoring our mission and collaborating with us on content like this. Check out our conversation with Jason below.

Hi Jason, thank you so much for sitting down with us again. For folks who might have missed our initial interview, can you start by briefly introducing yourself?
I am an endurance sports enthusiast. This means that I love swimming, cycling and running for a long time. I prefer to race 100 mile foot races and 140.6 mile triathlons. It was that passion to train and race for endurance sports that sparked the idea of starting a business surrounding those same sports.

Why start Run•Tri•Bike? What need does it fill?
We started Run•Tri•Bike with the idea that we all started somewhere and either had help or needed help when we began. Our multimedia platform answers questions about the sports themselves but also provides coach’s tips, nutrition and sports psychology tips as well as inspiration and motivation through story telling. We have a feature called how it all started that is written by the every day athlete about their journey through our sports. Our hope is that somebody reads this, sees themselves in the story and decides that they too can get out and enjoy their time while swimming, cycling and running.

Where can folks find the magazine?
We offer a subscription to our magazine that is delivered to their door, plus we can be found across the country in running, cycling and triathlon specialty stores as well as as races across the country.

Our magazine content is different from our website content, but the website is open all day every day and provides excellent information as well.

What types of information will customers get with their subscription? Is there a website?
Athletes that are starting out in these sports will find tips. tricks, dos and don’ts revolving around our sports. They’ll also be able to be inspired by athletes just like them as well as information regarding proper nutrition or a deep dive into the psychology behind these sports.

We do have a website and can also be found on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube.

What plans do you have for the future of Run•Tri•Bike?
We can see an opportunity to spin-off Run•Tri•Bike into an ‘off-road’ publication as well. The sports of mountain biking, gravel cycling and trail running to name a few are growing and adding a second publication that is exclusive to those sports is on the table.

Thank you so much again for sharing all of this with us. Before we go, can you share with our readers how they can connect with you, learn more or show support?
