Today we’d like to introduce you to Shalom Chapinduka.
Hi Shalom, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
The pandemic back in the beginning of 2020 is what made me want to start my business, I was home and realized I needed to do more with my life. I have always loved fashion and beauty and I’m a firm believer that when you look good, you feel good. I take pride in my collection it’s a part of me and the fabulous things I love, which is how I chose the name is Shalom Charity collections. My business has been truly successful during the whole pandemic and to this day, I am thankful and humbled to have a great support system of family and close friends during this journey.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
In the beginning, it was a struggle for me with sales being up and down and having good days and bad days like any entrepreneur but I kept pushing through and everything started to fall into place.

Shalom Charity Collections is a black-owned fashion/beauty brand, you can purchase anything from lipsticks, accessories, swimsuits etc. I’m a very detailed individual and I cater to the new trends out now while putting my own twist on it. 😉 I specialize in being all fab, all beauty, all you, which means every time you leave the house, you will look good and make a bold statement. I am extremely proud of the creativity I come up with every day, it’s hard work and non-stop from branding to marketing myself so if anything, that is what I take pride in. I have received amazing customer feedback and I strive to provide amazing customer service.
What do you like and dislike about the city?
The good thing about living in Dallas is that there will always be opportunities to grow your brand, meet new people and get in tune with the culture. I really have no dislikes because I stay in my own lane.
