Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My professional journey started nearly ten years ago. I have worked in various roles within the mental health field. After completing my undergraduate degrees, I relocated to DFW. Here I completed graduate school and have been working as a Nurse Practitioner for the past few years.
I had hopes to one day become a business owner and have the freedom to create a place dedicated to improving the lives of everyone who walks through my doors. In 2020, I decided it was time to move forward and open my own practice. I spent that year bringing my vision to life. In early 2021, I launched EZ Mind Psychiatry.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Starting a business during the pandemic has certainly been challenging at times. Creating a hybrid model which accommodates both virtual and in-person appointments took some planning. Ultimately, I’ve found both models serve their purpose and are working great to meet the needs of the community. As with any business, challenging times come and go. However, I am confident that I will overcome any struggle along the way. I owe it to my patients to create this safe space for them to come as they are, be who they wish & receive the best care possible.

EZ Mind Psychiatry is a Nurse Practitioner owned private practice specializing in mental health. I offer services such as evaluations, medication management and psychotherapy. I best serve ages 15 through 55. I enjoy working with mothers and college students who are struggling with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, OCD, stress, anger and self-esteem issues. We are Racial Justice & LGBTQ Allies.

I accept commercial insurances. I also offer sliding scale payment options for those who are uninsured.
