Meet Tina Brown

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tina Brown.

Hi Tina, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Absolutely! So I’m originally from Milwaukee, WI, and I had the opportunity to relocate to Dallas, TX five years ago with the corporate job I had for nine years. I was on a mission to prove to myself that I could thrive and survive in a bigger city (and it was a chance to get away from the colder climate for a while, couldn’t pass that up!).

Upon COVID impacts, my position had been eliminated, and I found myself in place of figuring out my next move. Luckily I had already been studying to get my Real Estate license, and I honestly felt like it was a sign- and opportunity to bet on myself if you will. From there, I worked on positioning myself accordingly and constantly building and growing my clientele here in Dallas. I’m so grateful that I’ve been welcomed with open arms to serve as a go-to Realtor® in servicing the DFW Metroplex.

I call my clients my “home-ies” because it really is about building and maintaining those close relationships. Looking at homes is the fun part, but educating, providing financial connections & resources, and really being there for them to lean on is so important to me. Everyone’s Real Estate journey and goals will look different. Whether buying, selling, leasing, finding commercial space to rent for a business. I want them to know that I’m by their side the entire time.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I don’t believe that any path is a smooth one when it comes to life in general. The same goes for entrepreneurship. Taking a leap to ultimately bet on yourself isn’t an instantaneous act of self-assurance. Deciding to embark on the journey of entrepreneurship can be terrifying!

It’s important to embrace every peak and every valley. I’ve learned that once you accept the fact that you will make mistakes, you can place that fear to the side and take on every challenge/or obstacle as an opportunity to learn, to grow, and to be better. I’ve also learned that finding the best brokerage to seamlessly compliment your goals of success in the industry is imperative. Like many other agents I know, I found myself in search of a brokerage that could provide me with the support I needed after the first one I tried didn’t quite measure up. It’s almost like dating. Although that experience presented some challenges, there was a silver lining in the sense that from that obstacle, I was able to clearly identify the type of support I felt I needed going forward.

I was fortunate to find that when I joined the REAL Dallas Properties & Management team. What’s better than one Realtor®? An experienced broker and a team that all have one goal in mind- to make sure clients are well taken care of, and that’s exactly what I have in the REAL Dallas team.
