Today we’d like to introduce you to Eleanor Ward.
Hi Eleanor, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My story really starts after losing my husband and my eldest son about 15 years ago. I had so many dreams and aspirations before that happened. I had small successful businesses but everything stopped when they passed. FEAR set in and I shut down my whole life and decided it would be best to get a 9-5 to take care of my youngest son. That proved to be a horrible mistake which set me and my son on a path of no return (or so I thought). I took a series of horrendous jobs that either fizzled out or consistently ended, shut down, whatever for one reason or another. What I didn’t know was that God was taking me out of all situations that were not serving me in my life.
I decided to move forward with my life coaching since the certification had literally been sitting around in my office. I pushed myself forward and came out doing everything but what I wanted still listening to others and living in FEAR. I dropped life coaching, dropped business coaching and become what I knew in my heart God wanted me to do which was be a Grief/Trauma coach. Once I understood what the Lord really wanted me to do changed everything. I now run my own life coaching company Bigger Fish To Fry Coaching. I have started my own business magazine with the 2nd issue coming out this July which is Prosperity Business Magazine. I am moving forward and will be starting virtual conferences focused on healing and moving forward in your life this fall. I now use FEAR as my personal mantra FIGHT EVERYTHING AGAINST YOUR REVOLUTION!!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I have had many business challenges. I originally owned businesses in the 90’s and early 2000’s. The landscape was of course completely different, Websites were few and far between, Instagram and FB were not there and who in the world had heard of Zoom or a Funnel?
My greatest challenge was that I was so scared of the new ways of business that I lost my voice. I couldn’t hear Eleanor. I was listening to everyone else because I thought they knew more than me. I thought they were the expert since maybe they had more of a following or nice social media presence.
Once I sat down and realized that I was the best voice for my company and my presentation of my company positive amazing things started to happen. I would recommend before paying others research the companies you use. Most of them have tutorials online that you can watch on Youtube or Zoom. They are often free!! The road has not been smooth or easy by any means. Once you start paving your own way great things will happen for your business.

I own a boutique coaching firm. I am a Certified Life Strategies Coach. I have been in business for 3 years.

My mom was a huge country music fan and sang music all around the house. She loved Loretta Lynn. So I sing all the time too without realizing it sometimes. My kids learned everything when they were small through songs I made up including their names! I am stand up comedy funny ( I really am). I used to do infant massage so if you give me your baby they will be knocked out in minutes. Im still the champ!! I am an astoundingly great cook regular and vegan. I am simply and completely horrify-ing silly.
