Today we’d like to introduce you to Bailey Bacon.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I am a 25-year-old mother of three, a permanent make-up artist, natural lash health specialist, and the owner/founder of Meraki Beauty Bar. I started this journey over six years ago when I was a freelance make-up artist. Since then, I have received certifications in different techniques three times over in permanent cosmetics, received my tattoo license, received my certification in bbp, and received my license to become a natural eyelash health specialist. I am a master teacher/educator and mentor to up-and-coming artists in the brow and lash industry.
Meraki Beauty Bar is more than just my services though, we have multiple licensed estheticians and offer a wide range of services to cater to every client. We are constantly working towards bigger and better and always growing so be sure to stay up to date with our journey!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I think there is always a bigger obstacle I can foresee in the future, but the last obstacle was probably opening my new Sunnyvale location in the middle of a pandemic and 10-year relationship separation. Trying to juggle opening a new salon while figuring out this new home life and taking care of my three beautiful girls was definitely a huge obstacle. That being said, we did it and we’re ready for the next thing to come our way.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a licensed lash artist and master permanent make-up artist and educator. I am most proud of my team and my training program. What sets me and the Meraki Beauty Bar brand apart from others is the amount of care that goes into every single step of our interactions with our clients and students. We truly put everything that we are and value into our work.
Are there any apps, books, podcasts, blogs or other resources you think our readers should check out?
