Today we’d like to introduce you to Kaden Gabbard.
Hi Kaden, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Growing up in a musical family, music has been a big part of my life from day one. I grew up singing in church programs, and choir. I always wanted to pursue music but I really fell in love with it when I was 13. I started writing songs and singing at my church. When I was 15, I started recording, and that’s what’s brought me here.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I’ve hit a ton of creative blocks and problems in my creative process. At times being an artist can be an uphill climb, but the destination is always worth it.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am a singer/songwriter, who really just wants to share my music with the world. I’m very proud of how far I’ve gotten with some help from others. It’s very difficult to get places as an independent artist. I think my lyrics set me apart from others. I try to write songs that tell a story and make a deep impact on the people that listen.
Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
I don’t really believe in luck haha, but I think I am very fortunate to have amazing people around me to help and support me.
