Today we’d like to introduce you to Joshua Brown.
Hi Joshua, so excited to have you on the platform. So, before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I started taking pictures of different thing in the Dallas area. Shining a light of the beauty that is Dallas. Showcasing the people, festivals, and businesses that make DFW so unique. I started off using a Samsung phone and posting on Instagram, the pictures kind of took off. I don’t think it was me, it was the people and places I was able to capture and show off. I was gifted a Nikon camera because it was a gift to me, I decided to gift my art of photography for free to those that would let me hone the art. My brother-in-law’s band, As Trust Kills gave me the opportunity to be their official photographer. That really opened a door that has been so amazing. Being social butterfly and utilizing my eye for photography, I have been able to help build not only businesses but artists as well. I do my pictures for free to give back and help others. being able to help others and learn in the process has been so rewarding. I created a go fund me to help support and grow this little adventure.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Working a full-time job, having a family, and chasing a dream, is definitely tough. It all fades away though when I see my work helping others.

I would say the true stars are the people and places, I am able to help.
If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
The love I have for people and the community. Being able to communicate with people and businesses of our community. Being able to capture their uniqueness and showing it off to help in building more opportunities for everyone.
