Community Highlights: Meet Cesar Loza of Cesar Fitness Management

Today we’d like to introduce you to Cesar Loza.

Hi Cesar, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Between track & field, marching band, martial arts, weight training, playing roller derby on the world stage and competing in NPC Men’s Classic Physique, Men’s Bodybuilding and Men’s Physique, I have always been into fitness & staying active.

I began my bodybuilding journey in 2014 after a skating injury and 3 fast years later, my potential was spotted by IFBB Pro and Owner of Builtco Body & Fitness (Uptown Dallas) Miguel Martinez while working out at his gym in 2017. I already had the desire to help others achieve their health and fitness goals and under Miguel’s tutelage, I honed my skills as a trainer and learned to apply those skills to others in a high caliber manner with a high standard of conduct.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
As far as entrpreneurial journies go and personal training by extension, my journey has been smoother than most but by no means easy. I built a great client base during my time any Builtco and these clients followed me on my journey when I began on my own. I have been fortunate enough to have clients that work hard enough and want results bad enough to put in the work. Their progress has been my main source of new/incoming business as word of mouth spreads and their friends/loved ones notice their transformations.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Cesar Fitness Management?
My passion lies in helping individuals that want to help themselves – helping those that want to build the habits necessary to maintain a fit, happy, healthy lifestyle and a physically aesthetic physique for years to come. I recognize that stepping into a gym can be scary at first & information overload is very real and can be overwhelming when starting out your health and fitness journey.

My goal is to simplify the process, make going to the gym a comfortable and exciting experience, remove any doubt about what you should be doing to attain your goals and helping you develop the tools you need in a safe and effective learning environment. I strive to help my clients eventually be able to continue their fitness journeys successfully without needing a trainer.

I specialize in body transformations/bodybuilding using functional movements coupled with macronutrient and nutrition coaching/programming to help clients achieve their goals. I use bi monthly/monthly check-ins with pictures, measurements and an Inbody 270 body composition scanner to record client progress.

My attention to detail, biomechanical movement, form and safety is what sets me apart from other trainers — being able to look at the finer details of someone’s form to make effective changes to illicit the biggest return.

Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
I see the fitness and personal training industry staying pretty consistent in terms of its core principles with the biggest deviations or changes happening in the tools and information available to individuals to help them achieve their goals. One such advancement is the introduction of digital weights (Tonal) which essentially gives individuals everything they need to really get starting in transforming their physique right from their own home. Every industry is in a constant state of change but one thing I don’t think will ever change my industry is that there’ll always be individuals who needs a little extra push to get started and continue going.
