Today we’d like to introduce you to Sonializ Rosario.
Hi Sonializ, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My entrepreneurship pursuit officially started when I moved from Worcester, Ma to Dallas, TX at the beginning of 2021. I moved to Texas with no idea of what I was getting myself into, I just had faith, hope, and determination of getting out of the biotechnology industry. I have a bachelor’s degree in biotechnology and worked in the industry for a year before I decided that it was just not for me. I’ve always have been a very creative and artistic person, so I didn’t want to be limited to a job that made me unhappy. I am an illustrator/ Artist, I design hand-written business logos, illustrations, and social media content as a side-hustle.
Once arriving in Dallas, Tx, I began talking about my faith in Jesus Christ on my platforms and it grew into something bigger than me. I began sharing about my childhood trauma & broken-relationship testimonies, which led me into producing my first digital product, an eBook called “She Is”.
this eBook is a collaborative effort between me and my cousin Carla Rodriguez, it talks about our healing journey from childhood sexual abuse, abusive relationships, and family dysfunction. Its main purpose is to guide women with similar past traumas into the true path of healing and show how our faith in Jesus Christ gives us a new identity.
My desire is to impact and influence millions of women to be bold, barrier-breaking, and bright in their pursuit of building their brand. I am building a community of women that are ready to take their first steps of faith into new territory.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Moving to a new city and not knowing many people was a very big struggle. On top of that, being the first person in my family to do something no one has done before, which was to pursue entrepreneurship. Not having the guiding support, and expecting people to not understand the vision I am building can be very difficult from time to time. Yet, I am determined because the fruit of my labor come from God alone. Being a pioneer will always come with challenges, questions, and doubt, the important thing is keep moving forward.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am faith-based creative. I’m an artist/illustrator, influencer, YouTuber, and self-published author. What sets me apart is my true devotion to my faith and people. I love to inspire people to start things they’ve never had the faith to do before. I’m the spark needed to get the fire going in all thing creative.
What does success mean to you?
I define success as having peace. When you have peace, you have true success. In peace, you can create your best work, connect with amazing people and produce amazing content.
