Today we’d like to introduce you to Preston Pritchett.
Hi Preston, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself
Growing up in Selma, Alabama wasn’t much to offer, other than factory work, fast food, or fast money (the streets) so I was hungry for more than my environment had to offer me.
So, I went to college at Troy University in Alabama. After graduating I moved to Dallas in 2017. I only stayed in DALLAS for 7 months before I decided to move to Atlanta, Georgia for new opportunities after I was let go from my job in Dallas.
I did the thing which most people do when you move to a new city and need a job. I went to indeed and click to apply everything until I had interviews set up throughout the entire week, every week.
After a while, I got interviewed by NX direct in Atlanta which is a marketing and sales firm and they gave me an opportunity to work in their company knowing I had no prior experience in their field.
All I needed was a foot in the door to prove myself and I did just that. Starting off entry-level and working my way up all the way to Assistant Manager of the firm after only a year in a half.
Then, my manager told me that because of my efforts and me always keeping a student mentality, great work ethic, and good attitude, they wanted to give me the opportunity to open and run my own firm.
So, me and couple of people I trained and worked with in our Atlanta office moved with me to Indianapolis, Indiana to kick start my firm. After being in Indianapolis for a year or so our office became the #1 office in the nation in sales!
That open the door for more opportunities in different states and Dallas was one of them. So, we got offered to come to Dallas and expand our firm here and we packed up and got on the road. So far, we have triple in size as a company and our vision for the company hasn’t and will not change. That is “to transform followers into leaders and leaders into agents of change “.
As long as Urban Creek Consulting is around that’s what we will do!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?

We are a Marketing & Sales Development Firm.
We conduct face-to-face marketing and sales inside of multi-billion-dollar retailers. So, we specialize in product presentation, customer relation, leadership development, and sales.
What sets us apart is our willingness to give without receiving first even if we never receive anything in return. We believe in gratitude and doing more than what’s required.
We are most proud of our culture! We take pride in employee health, mental, physical, and family health. So, we teach about how to grow your mind and develop yourself so that you can grow even outside of work.
Who else deserves credit in your story?
God gets the credit for my success. He has kept me going through tough times and keeping me focus as he guided me to overcome challenges. Sometimes in life, you see a challenge and feel like it’s too big for you to see the other side of it. Knowing you have a God that’s bigger than anything because he is everything then you release that stress and tension.
