Conversations with Jarrod Williams

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jarrod Williams.

Hi Jarrod, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I’ve been singing and entertaining people since I was kid. I was always around art! So, when I got older, I was familiarized with a lot of the hottest go-to music spots in the DFW. So, I came up with the name The Sunday Takeout, which gives exposure to all things ART. What started out as just a regular night out on the town, became weekly pull-ups to host events, promote music, other businesses, and weekly singing gigs.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I will say when I first started it was rough, especially not having my own transportation. I was catching rides, Ubers, Lyfts, and the bus to each function. But I made it work!! I’m a time person so it was hard trying to make events on time, especially when you had to depend on someone else. I now have my own transportation so it’s much more easier!!! I’ve created several plans to succeed without so now it’s a smooth ride for the most part!

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m known for my hosting!! I’m an atmosphere changer! Not only that, I’m consistent in what I do, so you can expect to feel good when you’re in my presence! What I’m most proud of is, the fact that I’ve created a great name in my community and it has gotten me in great places

What are your plans for the future?
My plans for the future…I’m expecting GREAT THINGS!!! I’ve been auditioning for acting roles, I’m going to be a part of a talk show, and doing more major events, and collaborating!
