Today we’d like to introduce you to Hazel + Honey Boutique. Them and their team share their story with us below:
Becky and Dorothy are best friends who wanted to live out their dream of starting and operating their own boutique. In 2020, they started their boutique online. The business started growing faster than they ever dreamed. They soon moved into a warehouse space to have more room for their inventory and large shipping demands. Within a few short months and a lot of support from their friends, family, and online followers they made the jump to opening their first storefront in The Shops at Highland Village.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
It has been a very smooth road. Not having done this type of business before we are really operated on trial and error. Our biggest struggle has been growing faster than expected.
We’ve been impressed with Hazel + Honey Boutique, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Hazel + Honey is a best friends run boutique that strives to offer amazing quality at prices that are affordable. We own, manager, style, and operate the boutique personally. It is very important for us to know our customers and their needs and wants. We specialize in women’s clothing, gifts, and accessories. We also carry a variety of children’s clothing and local spirit wear.
We are in the shop every day to meet our customers. We want to know our customers and be an essential part of our business.
We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
Success is being able to do what you love everyday no matter what that is and being happy while doing it. Being able to give back to others in a way that makes you feel like you are making at least a small difference in the lives of others.
