Today we’d like to introduce you to Dr. Hugo Contreras.
Hi Dr. Contreras, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers?
My story begins with me being a young boy with big dreams; I’ve always wanted to help others but I had not yet discovered how, until one day at a family reunion everyone was laughing, smiling, having a good time except my mother. She was a bit embarrassed and insecure with herself because of her teeth. I sure didn’t know teeth where a huge part of somebody’s self-esteem. From that day on I decided I was going to dedicate my life to change that.
I began dentistry school; it was tough but I wasn’t gonna let my mother down. When I finished I made the decision to specialize in oral rehabilitation and finally accomplished my goal of fixing my mother’s denture. I saw how beautiful she looked and felt and convinced myself this was it; I was born to help people like her. I was so amazed of how a change in your smile changes literally everything! You become someone else, someone happier, someone so secure; a better version of yourself.
I continued my education and specialized in veneers. I started my dental business around the thought of transforming smiles, transforming lives and my work sure speaks for itself that I have definitely taken this very serious. I have built a team that sure understands people’s needs and will be glad to help.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The road to get to where I am hasn’t been easy, I have to study continuously to provide the best service possible for my patients such as national and international courses to keep innovating and stand out in this industry.
