Today we’d like to introduce you to Quanitra Robinson.
Hi Quanitra, so excited to have you on the platform. So, before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Growing up I was surrounded by nothing but creative women in my family. I’ve always known I wanted to be a part of the Beauty industry. A few years after graduating high school I decided to enroll in esthetician school, I met so many more amazing and creative women there. After graduating esthetician school I decided that, that’s not where I wanted to stop my learning so I decided to take a lash class here in the DFW area. Best decision ever! I can definitely say I’ve fallen in love with lashing and making other women feel beautiful.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Even though it’s only the beginning for me, running a business has not been easy at all, my path has definitely been rocky. There’s a lot of ups & downs & a lot of challenges i face every day. There’s some days where you seem like you’re making it and some days where you don’t feel as if you are. I always make myself remember the “why?” “Why did you start” and those “whys” and prayers to God always push me to never give up.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am a Certified Lash Artist. I specialize in lash extensions. I’m definitely proud on how far I’ve come, being that I’ve only been lashing for a year. Most of my sets are freestyled, which gives me room to be creative and original. Eyelash extensions are known as a luxury service provided to women of all ages, enhancing the natural lashes. I give my clients the best quality and customer service even a shoulder to lean on.
What does success mean to you?
Success to me is doing what you love and being authentic while doing it. Success to me is challenging yourself to be the best version of you, and challenging yourself to be better than you were yesterday.
